In the video, produced by Mashable as part of General Electric’s “Emoji Science” promotion, the major players in evolution get emoji matches: carbon is represented by the diamond, self-replicating molecules are interconnected faces and bacteria are represented by the purple alien monster.
Half of Voters Support Arming Teachers as GOP Support for Gun Control Rises
The survey, conducted Feb. 22-26 among a national sample of 1,992 registered voters, found 50 percent of those polled support equipping teachers and school staff with concealed firearms to respond in the event of a school shooting. Forty-two percent of voters said they do not support such a policy, which Trump has embraced following the Feb. 14 high school shooting in Parkland, Fla.
The poll also found support for stricter gun control laws has risen 4 percentage points, to 68 percent, since a Morning Consult/Politico poll conducted Feb.

General Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida recalled how Alhaji Shagari ignored a piece of advice that he be kicked out of the military for being a serial coup plotter.
On December 31, 1983, Shagari was overthrown by a military junta of which Babangida and Major General Muhammadu Buhari, who is the current presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), were key members.
