The court of Appeal sitting in Benin has upheld the victory of Governor Godwin Obaseki in the 2020 Edo state governorship election. Naija News reports that on March 29, the election petitions tribunal dismissed all the petitions seeking nullification of Obaseki’s election.
Dissatisfied, the Action Democratic Party (ADP) and its governorship candidate, Iboi Lucky went further to the court of appeal to challenge the tribunal’s verdict.

The All Progressives Congress has stated that Nigerians residing in Lagos and Abuja are the only ones buying fuel at the official price of N87 Premium Times reports.
This was disclosed by Olorunnimbe Mamora, a deputy director at the party’s presidential campaign office during a press conference at APC national secretariat in Abuja.
Mamora also said fuel scarcity still persisted all over Nigeria, except in the two major cities.
“Across the country, except Lagos and Abuja where fuel scarcity has eased off, due largely to the huge presence of the media and very active civil society, the situation in other parts of Nigeria has been that of pains, anguish and frustration,” he said.
